After 40, ibuprofen. You beprofen. We all beprofen.

At some point, getting older means developing strong opinions about pillows, making noises when you stand up, and knowing exactly where the ibuprofen is.

This design takes a joke I’ve been using for a while and treats it like something that has somehow existed since 1981.

The artwork recreates an old embroidered workwear patch—the kind you might discover in the bottom of a trunk after 45 years. Aged cream twill, faded red thread, worn stitching, loose fibers, discoloration, and frayed edges give it the appearance of an actual embroidered patch that's lived a life before finding its way onto this shirt.

The patch is printed, not physically embroidered. The thread, fabric, and stitching are part of the artwork, intentionally created to give the print a tactile, dimensional appearance.

Fabric, fit & care

THE SHIRT
The design is printed on a 250 GSM (7.4 oz) 100% cotton enzyme-washed T-shirt. The enzyme wash gives the garment a worn-in, vintage-inspired character while keeping the shirt substantial enough to feel like more than a standard lightweight graphic tee.

The loose fit and drop-shoulder construction give it some streetwear character without pushing the silhouette into an extreme oversized or boxy shape. It’s a middle ground between a conventional everyday T-shirt and a more relaxed streetwear fit—which works naturally with the aged workwear aesthetic of the artwork.

Garment details: 100% cotton, 250 GSM / 7.4 oz, enzyme washed, loose fit, drop shoulder, round/O-neck, short sleeves, moderate thickness, slight stretch, and DTG printing.

Because washed garments can have natural variation, individual shirts may have subtle differences in appearance.

CARE
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach or dry clean. Iron at low temperature and avoid ironing directly over the printed artwork.
